You may have heard of Lycopene as a key ingredient in tomatoes, but perhaps you don't know its exact function in the body. Lycopene is a naturally-occuring Cartenoid, which promotes the immune system and prostate function in men and is also a potent Antioxidant. Lycopene Prosta-Guard, manufactured by Vitamin World, offers you easy to swallow, rapid release softgels, which are gentle on the stomach. So, you will get your daily dose of Lycopene, but you won't be ingesting artificial color, sweetener or flavor, preservatives, sugar, starch, milk, lactose, gluten, wheat, yeast or fish as this particular Lycopene supplement is free from those items. Softgels do however contain Gelatin, so these supplements are not be suitable for vegetarians. There appears to be a lack of user reviews concerning the efficacy of this product, but with a budget-friendly price and a lack of reported side effects, it seems worthwhile of a try.

Recommended adult dosage is 1-4 softgels once or twice daily, preferably with food.

There are no listed side effects. Pregnant and nursing women and those on prescription medication should consult a healthcare professional before using. Keep out reach of children.
