101 Generic is a merchant that sells a host of generic medications, but it also sells a few brand name versions as well. There is a wide range of drugs available, ranging from antibiotics and diabetes meds to anti-flu, asthma, cholesterol, hair and weight loss and sexual enhancement.

The site itself is appealing to the eye and is easy to navigate. You can choose the medication you want from a list on the left-hand side and it gives you multiple dosages and quantities to choose from. You can enter the product right into your shopping cart from there. You may also call to place your order and the telephone number is clearly displayed on the homepage.

Customer Relations

101Generic has Customer Care Specialists standing by 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by email and by telephone. You may also choose to chat with a representative live. There is a different email to send feedback to the company and there is an informative FAQ section that outlines how to place an order, certain legalities, shipping rates, refunds, order tracking and more.

The company ships worldwide, but there are some medications, such as brand name Ambien, Xanax and Valium, that are only shipped within the USA. The site is also unable to ship to American states, Kansas and Nevada. There is a fax number located at the bottom of the page where you can send your prescription, so you can send it if you have one. But after speaking with a live representative, I learned that a prescription is not necessary. The rep was friendly and answered my questions quickly.

Is the price right?

Pricing seems to be on par with other online merchants. However, using your Visa or American Express credit card to pay for your purchase will give you a 5% bonus of pills. Returning customers seem to also get bonus pills with future order.

The store accepts credit card payments by Visa, American Express, JCB and Discover, wire transfers, Western Union and Money Gram. American customers also have the option of sending an E-check. There is a box on the homepage where you can sign up for specials by email. All listed prices are in US dollars, but there is a handy currency converter located on the site.

Many online pharmacies offer free shipping, but this one does not. You'll pay $15.00 for standard shipping and it goes up from there if you want your shipment faster and if you include insurance.

What else will I find?

At the top of the hompage, there is a link to track your order in case your meds are taking a while to get to you. Once clicked, you're taken to another page where you must enter your email and password and choose between tracking your order and refilling your order.

When you click on any product from the homepage, not only are you given several purchasing options, but this is where you'll also find out the drug's uses, precautions and side effects and also storage instructions. This is vital information, but always be sure to consult a physician before taking any medications.

The bottom line

There are some generic medications being sold here that we haven't seen on other online generic pharmacies and the overall pricing seems fair. The bonus pills for returning customers provides an incentive, too. The medications are easy to find on the site, it seems simple to order and you're able to track your purchase, but there are other online pharmacies out there that will give you a break on shipping.
