The first thing that you will notice upon arriving at KwikMed is that this online retailer caters to a very specific range of individuals, such as those dealing with erectile dysfunction, hair loss and quitting smoking. The tone of the site implies that it caters to clients who need medications that would normally be embarrassing to ask for in a normal pharmacy, such as Viagra, Propecia and Chantix. This retailer has been in operation since 2001 and is verified by PharmacyChecker.com. They pride themselves on convenience, discretion and revolutionizing the delivery of prescription drugs. KwikMed claims that is it the only company that has been granted regulatory approval to prescribe medications that have been domestically manufactured and approved by the FDA.

KwikMed has online live chat during the week from 9am to 5pm and customers can also contact them via telephone, email and regular mail. Purchasing seems quite simple. Simply choose the medication you require, register or log in, fill out the required consultation forms and then check out. The consultation procedure is similar to the questions that would be asked by your own physician.

Is the price right?

When compared to other online pharmaceutical retailers, prices of the medications here seem to be quite a bit higher. The site claims that the consultation and processing fees are built into the price you see on the site, so perhaps this is an explanation of why the cost is so inflated. Unfortunately, no information could be determined regarding shipping on the homepage. The FAQ section discusses consultations and general questions about how the company processes its orders, but no shipping information is available. Customers in need of more information should contact the company via telephone or email or speak with a live representative during their online business hours.

What else will I find?

Aside from these few medications, KwikMed also offers lab testing through a company called Labcorp. After logging into KwikMed and filling out a consultation form, the patient can visit a Labcorp facility to perform the desired test, which may include lipid test for cholesterol, fertility testing, thyroid function, drug screening, tests for sexually-transmitted diseases, and more. The results are sent to Kwik Med and become available to the patient online through their registered account within three to five days. This is a unique feature that many online pharmacies don’t offer. Labcorp facilities are only located within the USA.

There is also a "Resources" section at the bottom of the page that provides links to other websites that discuss alternative health, supplements, sexual health and more. The site also has a blog and a video section that discusses industry news, specific health concerns and addresses common questions.

The bottom line

Although the product variety is limited here at the moment, the convenience and lab testing features make it an enticing choice. It was a little disappointing that the shipping information was not readily available though. It would be nice if customers could know how much shipping would be before going through the entire registration and consultation process.
