Vitamin World's Slippery Elm Bark extracts mucilage and its carbohydrate-rich properties from the useful tree and grinds it into a fine powder and puts it in rapid release capsules for fast and efficient absorption. The capsules are easy to swallow and are free of artificial colors and flavors as well as starch, milk, lactose, gluten, wheat, soy, yeast and sodium. It is most commonly used to combat gas buildup in the body and all of the pain and discomfort that can be caused by that. Slippery Elm also has a soothing quality that helps fight against inflammation while also providing additional support and cuts, bruises, burns and other surface nuisances. Because the pills are a milled powder, the capsules can also be opened up and put in a delightful tea. This is especially beneficial to those who do not like to swallow pills.

Take two capsules three to four times daily, preferably with meals.
